New Logo for publishing games

Updated: Jun 9

Super excited to kick off our game publishing company. Got a new logo from a talented artist in Denmark, Cille Rosenørn Abildhauge (you can find her over at Penzilla Design).

Video Games or Table-Top Games

Both offer different kinds of fun. Some times we crave face-to-face human interaction, away from phones and technology, and Table-Top games offer that. Other times we want to become completely absorbed in another world and Video Games can offer the immersion of an interactive book or movie.

Since we like both, we thought we should create some of each.

Late to the Table-Top scene, but jazzed all the same

Seems like the return of D&D and other tabletop role-playing games (TT RPG) in general has been in full force for the last few years. And just like when it first started, many Game Masters (GMs) have returned to simpler systems to introduce new players to the game. Old School players have dug out their old box sets and books from storage, or bought copies on eBay to recapture the fun. Others, wanting to create new content based on the old-school rules have created retro-clones - new enhanced versions of the old rules, repackaged and re-imagined. The goal being to lower the barrier to entry for new players that are interested in human interaction, improv and face to face fun without being mired in boring rules.

Adventures for newbies and casual gamers

Oddly enough, even with a ton of tabletop role-playing games RPG materials out there, there didn't seem to the type of adventures that suited our RPG-Party needs. We wanted an adventure that could be started and finished in 4-6 hours (the most amount of time busy people can spend). We wanted an interesting story that isn't just a random encounter murder-fest, with a balance of some role-playing, some quick-action combat, and some locked-room type puzzles combined with some boardgame-like elements to appeal to new players.

We just couldn't find the right mix, so like most things in life - we just made them ourselves.

What can we contribute then?

We thought maybe there are other people out there that would also like more casual table top gaming resources and why not publish these type of resources for others to enjoy.

What about the Video Games?

They are coming, they are coming. We hope to release a Halloween game in September, then a Christmas game in November, and then a Sci-Fi RPG Video game in Chinese New Year. We will add a page for for video games soon.
